How much does it cost to hire a skip?
Your price depends on the size you choose, the type of waste you need to remove and where the skip is being delivered. Our domestic skips are charged as a simple one-off fee that covers delivery, your agreed hire period, collection and responsible disposal. You can pay by any major credit or debit card, PayPal and ApplePay, or choose cash on delivery if that’s easier.
How long can I keep the skip?
You can keep a skip for up to 14 days, including weekends and bank holidays. When you book, we’ll ask for your planned collection date, but if you need a little longer, just tell us and we’ll try our best to accommodate.
What can’t go in a skip?
Hazardous or restricted materials cannot be placed in any skip.

Do I need a permit for my skip?
If your skip is going on the public highway, you will need a council permit. Grass verges outside your home count as on-road, but driveways do not. We handle the permit application for you, and it can take up to five working days to come through. The cost depends on your local council and how long you plan to keep the skip. Safety lights and cones are included in the price.
Do I need to be there when the skip is delivered?
If you’ve paid by card, there’s no need to be on site when we deliver. Our automated, paperless system means your receipt and delivery confirmation will arrive by email. If you prefer to pay in cash on delivery, you’ll need to be there to make the payment to the driver.
