We are committed to running a business that supports both our environment and our local community. Sustainability sits at the heart of how we work, and as a family-run company with deep Sussex roots, we take pride in giving back to the people and places around us.
Our environmental commitment
We aim to reduce our impact wherever we can and to lead by example in our industry. Our Energy Recovery Facility keeps waste away from landfill and converts what cannot be recycled into energy that powers local homes. Alongside this, our recycling processes ensure as much material as possible is recovered and put back into use.
We are continually improving how we operate. Digital weighbridge tickets and other paperless systems are now in place across the business, reducing waste and improving efficiency. We have also introduced electric vehicles into our fleet and route our drivers efficiently to cut unnecessary miles. Where viable, more plant and vehicles will follow as technology develops.
Supporting local people
Community matters to us. We employ locally and 74% of staff have been with us for more than five years! This helps support community wealth, reduces travel miles and ensures local knowledge stays at the centre of what we do.
We remain hands-on in our community through practical support, donations and sponsorships. Each year we provide waste removal, skip hire and recycling services for local events across Sussex, helping organisers run safe, well-managed days for residents and visitors.

Looking ahead
We know sustainability is an ongoing journey. We are actively exploring new technologies, more electric options for our fleet and further ways to increase recycling and recovery. As we continue to grow, we will keep investing in greener solutions and championing the communities we serve.
