Meet Anita, PA and Senior Administrator at Rabbit Waste Management

by | Mar 17, 2026 | Meet the Team

Hi, I’m Anita

I work as PA and Senior Administrator at Rabbit Waste Management, and I also support Rabbit Demolition as Contracts Administrator. My role sits right at the centre of the day to day running of the business, supporting the team and helping make sure everything keeps moving smoothly.

What does your role involve?

My role is quite varied, which is something I really enjoy. I provide PA support to the leadership team. Alongside that I’m involved in a mix of administration, accounts, HR and general office support.

No two days are quite the same. Some days I’m helping coordinate paperwork and contracts, other days I’m dealing with accounts or supporting the wider team with whatever needs doing. It’s very much a role where you get involved wherever you’re needed.

What’s your background?

My background has always been in administration. Over the years I’ve worked in a number of areas including purchasing, import and export, which has given me a broad set of organisational and administrative skills.

That experience has helped me adapt to the different aspects of my role at Rabbit and feel comfortable managing a wide range of responsibilities.

What do you find most rewarding about the job?

One of the things I enjoy most is how varied the role is. There’s always something different going on, which means the job is never boring.

Being able to support different parts of the business and help things run smoothly behind the scenes is something I find really satisfying.

What can be challenging?

Like many roles in a busy business, things can change quickly. Last minute changes can sometimes be challenging, but they’re also part of the job and you learn to stay flexible and adapt as needed.

How has Rabbit supported you?

Over the years Greg and Mandy, along with the wider management team, have been incredibly supportive. They’ve always taken a genuine interest not just in my role at work but also in me and my family, which means a lot.

That level of support creates a really positive working environment and makes you feel valued as part of the team.

What do you pride yourself on?

I pride myself on doing my job to the best of my ability and always being willing to learn. I believe it’s important to keep developing your skills and not be afraid to take on new challenges when they come along.

What are your goals for the next year?

My main goal for the next year is simply to keep learning. There’s always something new to understand or improve, and I enjoy continuing to build my knowledge and experience within the business.

Why is Rabbit a great place to work?

Rabbit is a friendly and caring company where people look out for each other. It’s a place where hard work and effort are recognised, and where everyone works together to get things done. That creates a really supportive atmosphere and makes it a great place to be part of.
